Who is In Pursuit of G.R.A.C.E. ?
In Pursuit of G.R.A.C.E. is an animal advocacy and community outreach organization. We are volunteers from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Some of our volunteers have worked in animal rescue and some just love animals. We all have a common ground, which is a passion for helping others; both human and animal.
What does G.R.A.C.E. stand for?
Giving help where it is needed
Resources; such as providing programs to help when unexpected situations may occur; so that people do not have to surrender their animals.
Advocating through defending animal’s rights and stepping up to help by assisting others to get involved with the cause.
Community in need and providing a forum of information for the purpose of…
Educating the public in regards to the needs of animals everywhere and the why’s and how’s involved in aiding those issues.
How did In Pursuit of G.R.A.C.E. begin?
Several of our volunteers had attended animal rescue events and saw that there was a need, to not only attend, but that volunteering is a much greater help. After volunteering for a few of these events, it was realized that there was an even greater need, to not just volunteer, but to try to help make a difference and that you do not have to be a rescue in order to do rescue work. We then decided that we wanted to start helping the community to deal with some of the issues of pet ownership.
We are not a rescue; but we can help. We pride ourselves on helping our animals through communicating, educating and promoting awareness; as well as you the pet owner, animal lover and neighbor by providing you with resources, programs and services for all of your animal needs.
